Ministry of Foreign Affairs Announce Massive Recruitment

In accordance with this notice, the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is seeking qualified Nigerians for recruitment as prospective volunteers.

These volunteers would be expected to provide teaching, lecturing, and medical services at various institutions in the Republics of Benin, Niger, Uganda, the Seychelles, Zanzibar, and Jamaica.

The Scheme, a crucial component of Nigeria’s foreign policy, aims to promote South-South Cooperation by offering human resource support in certain fields of interest to ACP countries upon their request.

The following positions are open for applications from suitable candidates:

 Eligibility:

• Medical professionals must have an MBChB/MBBS or equivalent, a Master’s degree, and at least five years of experience.
• All medical practitioners must submit proof of their most recent practice license.
• Nurses should have a B.Sc. in nursing, though higher education such as a PhD or M.Sc. is advantageous.
• All lecturers are required to have a Ph.D., a master’s degree, and at least five years of experience.
• All secondary education teachers are required to have a B.Ed., M.Ed. and at least five years of experience.
• The qualifications for artisans should include specialized skills (PhD, MA, MS.c, BA, B.Sc, HND, or Trade exam).

NOTA BENE:

• Potential candidates must have the necessary requirements for education and work experience in the subjects of study specified above.
• People who have already served under the TACS are not eligible and should not submit an application.
• People who attended the most recent interview and orientation are not required to apply.
• Volunteers can be posted under this TAC initiative to any African, Caribbean, or Pacific nation where their knowledge is needed.
